Gold Coast Greens

Here on the Gold Coast we are your local branch of the Queensland Greens. Our primary vision is formed out of respect for the environment, active participation in our democracy & equity in social justice.

Central to these ideals are that our economy must shift to an ecologically sustainable model and that people have the opportunity to pursue meaningful work & express their cultural values.

The QLD Greens Gold Coast Branch forms part of the Global Green Movement and adheres to this international political charter.

Each of us are grassroots members who share the responsibility for driving our party forward, seeking to elect Green candidates into positions of leadership and representation. We wish to effect shared global responsibility for a long-term future stability and promote values of peace and non-violence in public policy.

The Gold Coast Branch covers the following electoral boundaries:

Federal: Fadden, Moncrief, McPherson, Forde (in partnership with Logan Branch), Wright (in partnership with Scenic Rim Branch)
State: Albert, Broadwater, Coomera, Southport, Gaven, Surfers Paradise, Mermaid Beach, Burleigh, Currumbin, Mudgeeraba
Local: Gold Coast City Council Divisions 1-14
